Affiliate Marketing Getting To Know The Basics

November 25th, 2009

To understand the Affiliate marketing basics it is basically a form of web marketing. It is a marketing practice that is focused on the use of internet. Simply said, the step by step methods of the whole affiliate marketing system happens starting from the time a customer visits the affiliates website. When the web surfer visits the affiliate’s business site, he or she is directed to the information or the seller of the desired product. For this action all the advertising efforts are carried out by the affiliater marketer, and they are rewarded.

Becoming an affiliate in an affiliate marketing business is pretty good for someone who wants to earn a lot of money from home. You are actually not selling your own products, but someone else’s. For this, you are rewarded. Isn’t that great? Well, not exactly. In order to get a customer to actually click on the link and be directed to the merchant, you are supposed to have a good website that will attract potential customers.

People who take up affiliate marketing as a means to generating good money use a lot of marketing methods such as SEO (Search Engine Optimization), e-mail marketing, display advertising, etc. Some affiliates tend to use methods that are less conventional. These usually include the publicizing of reviews and services of a selected partner.

The shortcoming of many affiliates is that they forget they own or are dealing with a real business. If you are the affiliate and is involved in affiliate marketing, this means you are advertising and selling a product on behalf of other mercahnts. If you are to be successful in your affiliate marketing arena, the focal point lies in the website you have. This is where all the marketing efforts are materialized.  In addition to having a website that looks professional and credible, it should also be user-friendly and have the ability of attracting many potential clients and motivating them to purchase the products you are promoting.

Trying to promote a product that does not even have a demand would be a waste of time and money. Therefore, before getting in to the business, it’s important to find a reputed merchant who is willing to sell branded products that are in high demand.

Today, earning money does not require you to go to a workplace and work tirelessly from nine to five each day. Thanks to the emergence of affiliate marketing, you can now earn millions online. All you need is the right resources such as Affilorama and commitment to strive.

3 Popular Niche Marketing Misconceptions

June 26th, 2009
Comments Off

Specializing in Niche Markets has never been as crucial as it is today. Long gone are the days when you can target general, broad markets and make money from them.

To make money in today’s Internet Marketing environment, one must specialize in well defined niche topics.

Lets examine a few misconceptions when it comes to niche marketing.

Misconception #1: You do not have to be an expert in the Niche field you choose!

Everyone says you should only choose a Niche that you are an expert in…nonsense!

The Internet is so impersonal that you can easily appear as an expert and not know anything about that particular niche topic. The key is to appear as an expert. How? You can outsource, build niche sites with no interaction such as blogs, purchase resale rights to an ebook in a particular niche. You see, you can choose to profit from any niche you like.

Misconception #2: Choose one niche market and stick with it.

Not true! Once you establish yourself in one niche and develop a profitable system, choose another one and run with it. You can even choose a pen name if you like, it’s common practice to do so.

Niche marketing is a numbers game. Once you find a profitable niche put it on auto-pilot and choose another niche market to get into.

Misconception #3: The best way to make money in the niche game is to promote niche products as an affiliate.

Wrong again! Sure, becoming an affiliate and promoting niche products can be very profitable, but if you are doing this, you’re not maximizing your income.

You need to promote your own landing or squeeze page where you collect the e-mail address of the visitor, and then sending him or her to the niche product you are promoting. You should also send out an e-mail course with informative information pertaining to that particular niche market to gain the visitors trust. Since your subscriber now trusts you, you can recommend products in that niche again and again, knowing your recommendation holds a lot of weight.

Those are three popular misconceptions when it comes to niche marketing. Follow the tips above, and you will be more likely to succeed. Remember, it is important to find a profitable niche, set it up so it is on auto-pilot, then move on to the next niche.

Not all niche markets will be a slam dunk, so don’t get discouraged.

Even if one out of ten become really profitable, sit down and smile, you’ve hit the jackpot.

Money In Your Blogs

Set Up a Blog

Blogging for Profit Begins With a Long Term Plan

Many people dream of blogging for profit, and this goal
is not far beyond the reach of someone with average
intelligence, a willingness to work hard, and a basic
understanding of the latest blogging technology. However, very few
people make profits from their
blog. Most people who attempt to make money with
their blogs do not succeed for two reasons. Often,
bloggers have unrealistic expectations of how fast their
readership will grow and how much money they will
make, and when these expectations are not met the
disappointment can crush the desire to continue
blogging. The other trap that many bloggers fall into
has to do with lack of planning. If you want to turn a
profit as a blogger, the key to success is to make a
realistic plan and stick with it.

To succeed at blogging for profit, the main thing that
you will need is a large readership. The higher your
traffic, the more advertisers will agree to pay you.
However, cultivating the regular visitors that you will
need in order to make a profit isnt easy. As more and
more blogs appear each day, having a great idea or a
wonderful writing style is no longer enough to get
attention. You need to be able to market your blog
effectively.

Too many people spend too much time writing posts
and not enough time marketing their project. To be
certain, updating as often as you can is a great way to
keep your blog well up on blogrolls and high in blog
search engines like technorati, and once your readers
know that you update frequently they will return to your
site on a regular basis. But, it does not matter how
often you update if nobody is reading your page, so don’t
skimp on the time that you spend drawing visitors to
your site. To make your dreams of blogging for profit a
reality, try decreasing your number of posts and using
some of that time to draw new visitors by setting up
link exchange websites with other bloggers, making contacts in
the blog community, and following other established
modes of winning traffic.

Of course, even if you are a marketing genius or have a
really clever business idea for a blog, success is not going to
happen overnight. Building the kind of readership that
blogging for profits requires takes time, and in all
likelihood it will be at least several months before you
are able to turn much of a profit. Try to keep interested
to your blogging project during this initial rough period.
To stay motivated, set goals for how often you will
update and how many subscribers / readers you would like to attract, and
then you can reward yourself for sticking with your plan.

However, there are now some excellent software sollutions
to some of the above stated problems.
It is quite easy now, for a small fee, to turn your “Hobby”
blog into a successful “Home Based Business” opportunity.

If you have the desire, the need, and the time, to dedicate
yourself to learning how to market your blog, it is quite
possible to turn your blog into a full time money making
venture. But be warned! There are no “Get Rich Quick”
solutions. Running any business whether online or off
takes time, some cash, and patience!

How to Increase Blog Income

April 9th, 2009

I have been using Micro Niche Finder for over a year and have been impressed at how useful this niche and keyword finding software is at finding profitable niches and keywords.

This software does all that it is advertised to do and more. Here are a few ways to benefit from using this software.

1.) Find affiliate product niche keywords to build one to five page websites and articles around and promote affiliate products. Regular commissions can be earned on a recurring basis for doing this.

2.) Create keyword rich Adsense content pages that pay you residual ad revenue. Be sure to use the free Google Adwords keyword tool to check out the estimated cost to the advertiser for each keyword. There is no point in targeting low paying keywords if you want decent Adsense income. A high paying niche using high paying keywords will low to medium competition should do the trick.

3.) Create Niche Market Private Label Rights Packages and sell these for a quick profit.

4.) Create Squidoo Lenses and claim your share of the profits generated by the traffic.

5. Create eBay feeder pages and make money when new users register for eBay.

6. Promote affiliate products using keywords that are not commonly used. These will probably be long tail keywords. These golden keywords will be suitable for effective PPC advertising as well as to bring organic traffic to your website.

7. Find high value keywords to use in article marketing campaigns.

Check out the product at Micro Niche Finder

I quickly found some new keywords that more than justified the modest purchase price. The videos explaining how things work and what must be done are well done and easy to follow.

One thing that I believe will be extremely helpful moving forward is not mentioned in the promotional material. This would be to use the software to find niches and key word phrases that you can blog about with little competition.

This is what I am working with now. Once the software finds a low competition keyword that fits into theme and content of one of my blogs I simply do as I always do to write and publish the article.

Since the article is written around key words that people are actually searching for in good numbers and there is not much competition on Google for that key word I have a good chance to get a high ranking on Google. Google then will do a good job of serving ads that are closely related to those keywords. Of course, that will increase the CTR.

I recommend that you use the free Google Adwords tool to see how much advertisers are paying for keywords before deciding upon your blog topic. You might as well write about subjects whose keywords pay well rather than those that pay only pennies. Check out the product at Micro Niche Finder and the free Google Adwords tool can help you to sort all of that out and keep you working in profitable niches.

Check out the product at Micro Niche Finder. It’s a fantastic tool for keyword research and is easy for anyone to use and to benefit from right away.

Product Creation; The 24hr Hot Product Formula

March 15th, 2009

The biggest dilemma faced by most new internet marketers is the challenge ‘What Niche?’, since everybody is searching for a good earner, one that has shoppers and if they are into Affiliate Marketing, has good converting products.

The thing is, most affiliate marketing involves promoting someone else’s product and the affiliate gets a cut, but what if you had your own product, then engaged a team to promote and sell for you. That’s when your income jumps skyward, Agreed!

Nice idea, but you are probably thinking..Well out of reach. Developing a product is a huge job, or is it? Thinking about it, how often have we seen internet marketers appear to create an endless supply of new products, yes, a fair bit of the time, certainly some are better at it than others. So what do they know that we are missing?

Well a well know marketer; Chris Rempel, aka The Lazy Marketer, has just provided a stack of the solutions, in a way that most people can easily get their head around: The 24hr Hot Product Formula. It’s prime content is over 2 hrs of Videos, literally looking over his shoulder as he shows how to create a product from scratch.

Apart from the PDF, there are 5 sets of videos, commencing with ‘Niche Research – Hot Markets’ then investigating what sells, what’s a dud and why, ‘Products you can Create Fast’, ‘Ad Copy that Sells’ then finally wrapping up with ‘Rolling out your Product’.

The first videos are looking over his shoulder as he probes for profitable niches from scratch, with markets he knows nothing about and illustrates precisely the course he takes as he develops his niche and strategy. Personally, I like this way of doing things, it becomes real and it is way easier to understand.

The 24hr Hot Product Formula is also great, even if you are not interested in creating a product, because you start to comprehend the mental aspects behind what he is doing and why. You understand his decisions that dictate the niche choice, then you see the products currently in the niche, what’s good and what’s a dud, but also why. So if you are marketing a third party product, it helps to establish what to avoid. I mean, why market an un-salable item with a dud sales product sales pitch, you are only going to end up frustrated and broke.

He also provides a large number of worthwhile product sites, affiliate forums, and other important resources, many of which can have a significant effect on how one markets and promotesmajor influences on the ultimate success of a product.

The 24hr Hot Product Formula is another top quality product from Chris and the information it provides is just terrific.
