Are you looking for a way to make money online? Perhaps you’d be interested in starting in an Affiliate marketing business. Affiliate marketing has been used to build numerous fortunes online and it may be your solution. Today, anyone may love to have the financial independence by building their own home based Internet business? The fact is that almost everyone who’s selling a product online will have some type of affiliate program in place. Starting on an affiliate marketing business offers great opportunities for those who decide to learn the business and follow through with those things that are required to succeed in it, which includes education and training. Speaking about training, Commission Ritual provides the type of affiliate marketing training that will benefit you greatly in your quest for making money from home success.

In Affiliate Marketing, the affiliate’s efforts are directed at getting people to visit another company’s website and buy that company’s products. The affiliate does not have to worry about stocking products, shipping and handling, handling payments or providing customer care. Instead, the affiliate should simply focuses on promoting the company’s product and get as many customers as possible to visit that company’s website. You will then be earning money from the commission on those sales that are a direct result of your marketing and promotion work.

There are some points to keep in mind when selecting your affiliate marketing products to promote. You will want to spend time researching the companies and products you are considering to be sure you are promoting only the quality ones. Try to focus on only one product category per website. And be sure to stay current with your products. Be sure that you are not promoting some products that have disappeared, that are no longer paying funds out, or that have developed poor reputations. Once an affiliate has developed their business around a certain niche, they can then repeat the process for yet another niche area. This will enable you to hold multiples niche sites and profit from these multiple income streams. If you happen to be interested in a network marketing business, one that I like is the Monavie business.

The question has entered many minds at one point or another.”How do I make money fast?” Luckily for everyone who has ever had that question come to mind there is an answer! There are many ways to make money online, but here are a few categories that are popular.

Here are a few websites to make money online.

1. Associated Content.
2. Cash Crate.
3. Forum booster.

Let’s begin with associated content. is one of the first places you should visit when trying to learn how to make money online. Associated Content requires you to write content, which in other words for those who aren’t familiar with the online language, content means articles.

Associated Content requires that you write articles for them, they will pay you anywhere from $3 to $40 for your content.

Most of the time however the bids that they place on your content are for much less than $10. However, this is still a great way to make money online if you can type several articles per day. You may be surprised to see how easy it has become to earn a part time income through writing for Associated Content.

The next site that we will talk about is Cash Crate. Cash Crate is a site that pays you for taking surveys. They may pay anywhere from a dollar to possibly a hundred dollars, just for you to take a survey.

Doesn’t sound too bad now does it? The reason that companies pay people to complete surveys is that they are very interested in receiving feedback on their product/service, and are willing to pay to find this information out.

They even have a daily survey on the homepage that is guaranteed to make you some extra income. The survey on the homepage that guarantees payment is for $0.80. It may not seem like much but do the math, over a 30 day time period. That is close to $30 just for giving your opinion on a survey.

Are you still asking yourself that question, how do I make money fast? So, if taking surveys or writing articles doesn’t thrill you, you can always check out the Forum Booster.

Forum Booster pays you $0.10 for every post you make on a forum. This is great for those of us that would be searching and posting on forums either way, why not get paid for it? If you can accomplish 6o posts per hour, you will earn 6 dollars. Better than nothing, right.

It may not be minimum wage, but you have the advantage of being in the comfort of your own home. You can be in your pajamas sipping coffee while working on posting on these forums. Each post should be a minimum of 12 words, which is not difficult to do at all.

Ultimately, there are many different ways to make money online, but these are a few of the top notch, reliable and legitimate sites.

NOW, if you are serious, and I mean really SERIOUS about making money online, and have around 15 minutes, you will definitely want to check out Maverick Money Makers.  This is real quality information, and outlines the tools and knowledge necessary to start your own online business.  You can make money online in very little time using this information, and for anyone who is motivated to be “your own boss”, check this out!

Make Money Online without Really Working

June 20th, 2009

You have probably read a lot of headlines that sound similar to this one above, or make promises like this one seems to. You might have spent quite a bit of time reading articles with title like this one. You may have evaluated the information and come to the conclusion that it wasn’t valuable… that won’t work, that won’t make money, I won’t promote that, I can’t endorse that… or whatever that! IT WILL WEAKEN MY ONLINE BRAND!

Done well, it can enhance your image. I’m going to give you some tips that will give you an opportunity to monetize your website or blog, while preserving your brand. One of the best and easiest ways to monetize your online properties is to join some affiliate programs and advertise them on your site.

Affiliate programs are the answer

Why affiliate programs? Simple. Affiliate programs allow you to sell products and services without having to build or create them yourself. All the work of writing an eBook, or recording an audio track, or programming a software product is taken care of by someone else. But the advantages don’t stop there. Also, you don’t have to create marketing materials – those are created for you by the affiliate program owner.

Another big benefit is that you really don’t have to manually keep track of finances or money. The best affiliate programs will probably provide you with affiliate management tools that are based on one of the top affiliate management programs. The software programs will keep track of all kinds of metrics that will help you optimize your affiliate marketing effort.

Five tips for choosing affiliate offers to promote

  1. Look good earnings potential – You want to make sure that if one of the people you refer to an affiliate offer buys, that you will make some decent money. Some gurus recommend that you look for high percentage payouts. My preference is to look for opportunities where you can make a large commission from a sale. This affiliate program for promoting 30/60/90 day sales plan templates gives you the opportunity to earn almost $50 per sale.
  2. Choose programs your readers will like – It is critical that you choose affiliate programs and offers that your audience will appreciate and be interested in. It wouldn’t be too bright to choose to promote affiliate programs and products for chocolate desserts on a site that is dedicated to losing weight. However, if you have a website that helps people find careers is sales, it would be great to promote something like How to Get Into Medical Sales.

  3. Look for affiliate programs powered by software – When you sign up for an affiliate program it will quickly become obvious if the owner of the program is serious about helping affiliate members be successful. After signing up, if you are automatically redirected to a page powered by a fully-featured affiliate marketing software program, they are probably serious about their affiliate program. If you get an email message that says ‘here is you affiliate link’ you might want to think carefully about investing any time. Their are several top name brands like iDev Affiliate, LinkShare, and JROX JAM. My favorite is JROX JAM, which you can get for free here: http://websitesthatdrivesales.com/recommends/free-affiliate-management-software.htm

  4. Make sure the website is NOT anonymous – What I mean is, make sure that there are real people standing behind the website, people with good reputations, who take customer service seriously. People who let you know who give you contact information with phone numbers are more likely to treat you well. They aren’t likely to ‘forget’ to pay you the commissions that you have generated. If you find a picture, bio, and phone number of the website owner, chances are they will behave legitimately. You will also be able to search the Internet to find any negative information about their program. Peggy McKee, the Medical Sales Recruiter, is one of the country’s leading sales recruiters – she proudly announces her site ownership on the about pages like this one: http://30-60-90-day-sales-plan.com/about/

  5. Choose affiliate programs that have support programs – If you are choosing a piece of software to buy, you probably wouldn’t purchase it if there was not support mechanism in place. You should use the similar criteria when evaluating affiliate websites. Affiliate website program owners that don’t put support systems in place – something like a ticket system or help desk software – probably won’t care about any their products or customers, and eventually they won’t are about you. When they do, you can be fairly confident that they are trying to delight their customers. If they AREN’T working to keep customers happy, their poor service will reflect poorly on you, and tarnish your image.

There are a couple of affiliate programs that hit on all cylinders, that I could recommend if your site’s visitors would be interested in these subjects. One is an affiliate program for a sales interview tool that targets sales professionals – you can check it out here: http://30-60-90-day-sales-plan.com/affiliate-program-details/. The other is a program that has a broader appeal – it targets people who own businesses that either have no web presence or under performing websites; you can get all the information for it here: http://websitesthatdrivesales.com/blog/home/affiliate-program/

Building lucrative sites

June 5th, 2009

Individuals who have exceptional computers know-how, have an excellent way online to make cash. Unfortunately, most people are blinded by the prospects of making currency that they forget some of the simple things in running any business, and end up folding their web sites unsuccessfully and disheartened. In this article, I am going to discuss how to not meet that fate, and make enough currency through your websites or other online ventures that you don’t lose interest in this excellent field which can really supplement your existing income with a nice additional paycheck.

I started to build web sites around 2003, when I was in 11th grade, and my primary concern at that time wasn’t to make money on the internet, but rather to share my interests with everyone else. I had no idea that people actually made good dough online. I wanted to show my family members and friends that I could build very good internet sites, whether it be gaming or computers related.

I started building web sites on subjects I liked, those being online gaming and wasn’t concerned about the currency I make online. Folks are more interested in making currency when they start website than providing service. This is the trap most webmasters fall into and their sites never get off the ground, and a number of of them end up being disappointed. People have unrealistic assumptions about making dough online. Everyone thinks that once you have built the website, the hard part is over, and the only wait is for cash. Just like real world, making money is hard in online world as well. Internet isn’t a disney land, where you get all your wishes – you have to work hard if you want to earn moolah.

My family members and friends ask me all the time how do I make dough online? It isn’t an easy answer. If took me 2 years to start making money, and it is hard to explain it to them. For most of them, they see me making cash online, and they think it shouldn’t be much harder either. This hasn’t been in the case in my experience.

In my opinion, before you construct a website, you need to figure out the subject your website is going to cover. Don’t make the mistake of covering a subject that you think makes dough, instead choose a topic that interests you and the one in which you won’t lose interest for at least 5 years. So, if you are playing a sport or doing an activity just to impress someone, and nothing more, don’t create a website on it, as the chances are the moment you interest in that sport or the person you are trying to impress,  you are going to lose your interest in the website as well. Pick a topic that you know you will concern yourself for the next 5 years. This way, you create sites that you have interest in.

Now once you have picked a subject that you are going to cover for your website, write 10 topics related to that subject. Why is it? Since creating and maintaing sites is a tedious process, you will this way whether you have the patience to commit to a long term. Don’t write all articles in one day, instead day one write, the 1o topics you are going to write on the first day, and each day, write one topic. This way, enough time passes, and you get used to idea of committing to your website daily.

Look at your competitors and see how they approach different topics, and what they are doing once you have finished writing the content. Once you get to know your competition, get yourself a domain name, and a webhosting service. With that done, put your content on the website. See if your site needs any graphic layout changes once the site is up.

Your website at this point should be marketable ready, and also ready to be submitted to various search engines. Before you submit your site to search engines, make sure you have a sitemap for your site, which will help search engines index your website more efficiently. Update your website with new content daily, and also add your site map to google webmasters website. You should unique content so that it interests your visitors. The primary purpose of the site is help your customers, not just to make money.

The above processes should help you construct successful websites, and put you on a path that will earn you income that complement earnings from your offline world. Earning money on the internet isn’t easy, but with proper vision and motivation, it can be done. Also read our cost savings guide to complement your online earnings.

Why Making Money Online Doesn’t Have To Be Difficult

May 16th, 2009

It can be made very simple to make money on the internet for anyone.

Here’s what making money as an internet marketer should boil down to: Making sales from products bought by people to whom you sent an email.

Why are so many people failing with their internet businesses and their websites?

There are a number of reasons for this and they are all remedied by simple marketing methods which every internet business person should be practicing.

The way sites are being designed is one very big reason that online businesses are failing.  Newbies and amateur copywriters don’t get very good conversions with the traffic that is hitting their sites.  These webmasters are trying to make direct sales from product recommendations, reviews, and banners displayed.

First of all, the banners are taking up precious space on your web page that could be put to better use. Besides, most people have become banner-blind by now.

Secondly, you need to fight this banner-blindness by changing the ads on your sites every so often to see what is converting better, or at least getting more clicks.

Another reason for a lot of failed websites is the lack of a name capture mechanism used for list building purposes.  If people are immune to banners but your sites are getting traffic, don’t you think you should be building your list instead of just hoping your site makes sales all by itself by having the same banner up there forever?

You can and will make money from your website traffic if you use it to build you list and make sales at the same time.  You can do both, but your highest converting offers won’t come from first-time visitors who come to your site and see some banners.

Your highest traffic conversions will come from the emails that you send to your prospect list that you built.  Those people on your list who take your product recommendations and emails seriously will trust you and they’re more likely to buy what you recommend than the firstt-time visitor who doesn’t trust you (yet).

I have seen time and again when people on marketing forums tell me that they aren’t making any sales.

I would take a look at their sale spage and see that it’s not that good then ask them how they’re promoting their product and they’ll invariably tell me that they use traffic exchanges and forum links to promote their sites.

So what I tell these people to do is create a very simple squeeze page an newsletter with 7-8 emails in them emphasizing the value of getting their product, and the sales always start coming in once they divert their attention from making direct sales to just building their list.

If you’re not building a list, that is one of the biggest internet marketing mistakes you could be making and I suggest that you change your focus a little to see how powerful this change in attitude will be for you.

When you see how well this works, you should work to automate you list building so that you can have your very own automated profit system.

Daniel Mcgonagle’s automated list building system generates 15-20 optins a day from just 3 of his websites

The Power SEO Has To Increase Website Traffic

April 22nd, 2009
Comments Off

In this age of heavily reliance on search engines, a website that does not have any considerations for SEO will likely sink in the rankings. Most people rely a lot on the search engines when they are looking for products or services that they want, and without SEO services employed on your website the search engines will have a difficult time finding your site and indexing them, thus your site will virtually be invisible and might as well be non-existent. Even the best designed site with the best products will fail if SEO services have either not been applied or done poorly. The proper implementation of SEO services tends to follow several predetermined steps that ensure it’s effectiveness and maximize the increase in rank on the search engines translating to higher traffic and revenue through sales.

Where Do I Start

Firstly, your current website must be analyzed.  This is done in two ways: the functionality on an SEO basis, checking for keywords and HTML code and meta tags; the site is also analyzed from a user’s perspective for functionality and quality of user experience.

You then need to consider your audience and your target market. Who do you want to have on your site? There are various factors you have to consider to give you a perspective of how you will market to them. Look at the demographics, the age, sex, education level, economic status, marital status, and Geo location; these will help you in knowing how you should convey your message.

Next, look to your competition. Analyze your competitor’s sites and rankings.  What makes their sites work better than yours? What did they do to gain a higher ranking in the search engines than you?

Start To Choose Keywords

Once all of the research has been completed, you must then decide how to improve your SEO services.  Most importantly, you must decide what the relevant keywords are for your site.  To do this, you must look at both your product or service as well as your intended target or audience.  Your keywords will be the cornerstone of your SEO services strategy. Pick them carefully, and after much research and consideration.

Now that your keywords are selected, you then have to rewrite the content already on your site to reflect these changes. You should target for a keyword density of between 3-5% throughout your site. Do not try to saturate your site with keywords; over 5% makes it difficult to maintain the cohesive structure of your writing and can result in an unnatural flow of the story you are trying to convey. If your content looks unnatural, then it is likely your audience will alienate themselves from you because the content you are providing may seem to be gibberish.

Optimize your site every way you can, do not just optimize the content. Look at your site’s code and ensure that the basic HTML and meta codes also reflect your keywords as the search engines initially scan these when they spider your site and use it as part of their ranking.

Build Your Links

The last and certainly not the least important part of the SEO services that you need to work on is the linking strategy. The use of non-reciprocal or one-way links are valuable tools when trying to increase your search engine ranking. They tend to be more valuable the reciprocal or two-way links in terms of SEO and thus important to have them. Getting more one-way links is not that easy though, you will need to write good quality content, content that readers enjoy and find useful. People love to link to content that is relevant, compelling and useful to them. Then you also can use article submissions, directory listings, and blog networks to further increase your one-way links.

These are some the basic things you need to do in terms of SEO optimization so that you site will rank higher in the search engines. Any less and you will fail. This does however bring you to a very important point, and that is how do you effectively manage your time to be able to do all these tasks efficiently and effectively? You will need a system of tools and services to assist you in this and one such system is Portal Feeder. If you are interested in knowing more about how you can effectively improve the effectiveness of your SEO campaigns then see what Portal Feeder has to offer.

Make Money Online By Blogging

There are many different reasons why people choose to pursue blogging in their spare time. Some do it simply as a form of self expression, in order to entertain both themselves and their readers. Some bloggers choose to keep their blogs private and only share their blogs with family and friends. However, there are many more serious bloggers who choose to monetize their blogs, and generate a profit for themselves. Here we will discuss the ins and outs of blogging for money.

Setting up a blog does not cost much unless you decide to host your blog on your own domain. You can set up many free blogging accounts using professional blogging sites, or spend a little money and purchase a domain name. If you do this, make sure to install a free program such as WordPress to help administer and update your blog. Before starting a blog, one should focus on what subject the blog will be focused on. The most successful online blogs stick to a particular niche or topic. This way you can focus your audience for maximum earning potential. Once your blog is set up, you then must start promoting your blog in order to gain an audience. One of the newest methods of blog promotion is by using Web 2.0 sites that have a similar niche as yours. Once your blog is set up, and you have begun posting regularly and gained an audience, it is time to start generating your profits.

Trade Advertising – is how one can earn extra cash on their blog. You can sell advertising space on your blog to businesses that are related to your niche. Some bloggers rent advertising space on their blogs for a set period of time.

Affiliate Marketing – This involves placing advertisements on your site from advertising companies such as Google Adsense. For every blog user that clicks on the advertised links in your blog, you will receive some money for those clicks.

Ask for Contributions – If your blog is valuable to your readers, they may help with contributions to help pay for hosting and other fees. Once your blog becomes popular, you may want to make it private and charge a small membership fee.

Sell Your Products and Services – A great business model to help you achieve online success is to use your blog and market your own services, products, and tools. Blogging purely for entertainment is limiting yourself.

As we see interest in the blogosphere grow at a rapid rate, it is becoming more apparent that blogging can be an excellent source of income. Hard work and staying focused on your goals is the key to success. These four strategies are just a few of the examples one may use to become successful at blogging for money.

Know Why You Suck at Making Money Online

April 20th, 2009
Comments Off

You’ve heard that it’s easy to make money online.  You’ve heard that everyone is doing it.  You decided to try it for yourself, and now you’re disillusioned and disappointed.  You figure it was all a sham.  Well maybe, the problem isn’t with the internet, it’s with you. See if you’ve been making these common mistakes that are keeping you from making money online. These mistakes could be any of the following most common reasons.

You picked the wrong product

Either you picked a product that’s not selling, or you picked a product you know nothing about.  Both are a guaranteed way to fail to make money online.  Do your market research, and make sure that you pick a product that is easy to sell online, and make sure that there are people who want to buy it.  As well, make sure that you know about it.  Even if bicycle horns are selling like crazy, if you don’t know anything about them, it will show and people will choose to buy their bicycle horns from a more knowledgeable seller.

You didn’t test the product yourself

Not knowing how a certain product works will make it harder to sell. How will you answer common pre-sell questions on the product if your knowledge on it is limited? Your potential customers will simply not trust you and for the current customers, you’ll loose your chance for a repeat business with them, nor will they refer you to anyone. You may even get bad reviews for what your selling and end up being ignored totally. Bad reviews mean bad sales.

You Took A Direct Route To Step 10

You may think that you know all you need to know about making money online, and that you can go straight to overseeing multiple products on a variety of sites.  Now you’ve got a multitude of eggs in too many baskets, and none of them are making any money. Stop.  Sit back, and make a plan.  Start out with one or two products.  Make a cohesive business strategy that you can follow step-by-step.  If you these products start making money, you can use your business plan as a blueprint to add more products and sites to make even more money online.

You think you’re going to get rich overnight

It is possible to make money online.  Actually, it is possible to make a lot of money online. Thinking that you’re going to start making that kind of money right away, however, will only set you up for failure.   Again, go back to your business strategy; work at your business and keep working until you start to gather momentum. Also, just because it’s online doesn’t mean it’s going to be easy or require no effort from you. You have to assume that you’re going to have to work hard and be smart to make your business into a success.

You Just Gave Up To Soon

This may seem counter intuitive to the last point, but it is just as valid.  Just as you can’t expect to start raking in the money instantly, you also can’t give up if things are a little slower than you expected.  Slow and steady wins the race.  If you’ve done a solid business plan and started out with only a couple of products, and you stay consistent and put some effort into it, you’ll be making money online in no time.

These mistakes are so common at over 90% of people trying to make money online fail because of them. They had the will and the guts to try and no matter what they did, they just couldn't find the holy grail. Does that sound familiar? Well what’s missing is the right direction, tools, planning, and methodology. Making money online and even in the real world is a combination of the right tools and processes, along with the proper decision making.

So if your down on your luck and need to find the right path to making money online checkout what Portal Feeder has to offer. It’s a proven system with the right tools, training, people and resources that you’ll need to succeed online.

Best Earners With Google Adsense

April 5th, 2009
Comments Off

Are your curious to know who some of the biggest Google Adsense earners are? I know that I was interested to know who the best are so I could check out their websites and see how I could possibly earn as much money as these people do. I realized from most of these sites that sites with user generated content usually ranked pretty highly for Google Adsense earners. It seems that these “community” type sites do tend to get a lot of traffic and we all know that traffic = money. So without any more delay here are a list of the top 8 Google Adsense earners as collected from online resources.

1. Markus Frind – PlentyOfFish.com – $300,000 per month

If you haven’t heard of this guy yet you should check out the website plentyoffish.com.  He is the person who created this free online dating website from his appartment all by himself.  His website soon become one of the largest dating websites online.  I have actually tried out his website myself and can see how it can be interesting and attract a lot of visitors.  The graphics and layout of the website is nothing fancy at all but the functionality is all there and its fast to use.

There have been many of doubts that he wasn’t making that much money so he made those people silent by posting this on his blog.  According to his blog this represented two months worth of Adsense earnings.

2. Kevin Rose – Digg.com – $250,000 per month

Kevin Rose started Digg.com in December 2004.  It is a social marketing site that is mostly news, video, and pictures that are submitted by users for other users to read about and view.  Basically what happens is you can signup for an account and you can submit a “news story” and other people can view it and if they like it they can “Digg it” and this boosts the rating of the post.  If it gets enough Diggs it will appear on the Frontpage of the site and will get tons of traffic.  Digg has both Google Adsense ads and Federated Media ads.  It is estimated that he earns roughly $250k a month from Adsense alone.

3. Jeremy Schoemaker – $140,000 per month

ShoeMoney is considered to be one of the greatest Internet Marketers out there.  He is very good with search engines and knows how to setup his sites to get optimal traffic to them.  In one of his best months with Google Adsense ShoeMoney earned $132,994.97.  You can imagine it was probably pretty difficult for him to cash a check of that size!

Unlike most of the other Google advertisers ShoeMoney makes his money from hundreds of sites and thousands of domains.

4. Jason Calacanis – Weblogs, Inc. – $120,000 per month

Jason Calacanis is the creator of Weblogs.  Weblogs is a network of blogs and it was apparently making roughly $4,000 a day from Google Adsense!  He eventually sold the company to AOL for a reported $25 million.  He also announced his retirement from blogging earlier this year (July 2008).  He is now focusing on his email campaigns instead.

5. David Miles Jr. & Kato Leonard – FreeWebLayouts.net- $100,000 per month

According to a Washington Post article these 20 year old’s claim to be making $100,000 a month from their site FreeWebLayouts.net which offers free Myspace templates. That is pretty impressive for a couple of young guys that are offering free Myspace templates!
